What OFSTED say about our school
Pupils are unanimous in the view that everyone is happy and secure. At all times, pupil behaviour is exemplary. We witnessed a successful learning culture, underpinned by mutual respect and highly positive relationships.
The Head teacher and Deputy Head teacher lead the school with an infectious desire for improvement. Staff and pupils enjoy coming to school and appreciate the help and support they receive. The school’s Christian ethos underpins its work and the staff are totally united in their determination to provide the highest standard of education possible for the pupils.
Pupils’ progress in reading, mathematics and writing has been very strong. In 2018, progress and attainment for Year 6 pupils in these key subjects were significantly above the national average. Achievement in early years and in Year 2 was similarly impressive.
