Year 4 have been learning all about the importance of healthy eating, nutrition and exercise. 

Some of our Year 6 children have enjoyed reading with some children at the local nursery.

Year 5 have been busy combining their Geography Mapping skills with PE, when completing Orienteering Challenges. We first learnt all of the mapping symbols, then how to orientate a map and followed different paths in the MUGA. We then looked at maps of our amazing school grounds and worked in teams to follow set paths and find all of the clippers. It has really helped us with our mapping skills to recognise different places on a map and our running skills in PE have also improved.

Year 5 visited the children in Year 2 to read some books together. During the visit the children go to meet their new 'buddy'. A Year 5 Buddy will help support our Year 2 children as they move to our KS2 site in September. Year 2 are going to send some letters asking all about KS2 and send them to their buddy to find out more! In a few weeks it will be Year 2's chance to walk over to KS2 and see the big exciting building they will be learning in from September. The excitement is building! 

Last week Year 3 raised £62 for Water Aid by wearing something blue!
