Some of our Year 6 children went to London last week for Speaker's Day! They boarded the train to London, navigated the underground and visited the London Eye, all before their exciting workshop about voting and representation. They had a tour of the houses of Parliament, and they even visited the public gallery in both The House of Commons and The House of Lords and their visit ended with a Q&A session with Mr Speaker himself!
Years 1-6 have all enjoyed the Word Whiz Quiz where they completed an online quiz to look at the definitions of words.
Year 6 have all taken part in food hygiene training today where they leaned about contamination, bacteria and how to prepare food safely.
Year 6 have enjoyed making ice cream this week as part of their work on physical changes.
Year 6 have enjoyed a Bollywood Dance Workshop where they have looked at Mudras and incorporated them into a Bhangra and Bollywood inspired dance routine.
Year 6 have enjoyed an Indian inspired food workshop and DT lessons this half term.
