On Saturday 14th December, 9 members of the choir, along with Miss Walsh and Mrs Johnson, took part in the Christmas Spectacular at Blackburn Cathedral. They arrived for a rehearsal at 4pm with the Cathedral Choristers, Renaissance singers and a live orchestra. The concert then commenced at 7pm in front of a full house. The children sang beautifully and Gill Fourie, the School’s Outreach Organiser from the Cathedral, has passed on comments from the public about how wonderfully behaved our children were. It was a fabulous festive event and a great opportunity for our children to perform with professionals in such a prestigious venue. We are already looking forward to taking part again next year.
